I’m now officially closed, feet up and enjoying a well deserved break at the sea side.

My end of year summary…

E2E continues to amaze me month by month, year by year. Nothing is ever really planned, the wheels just start turning, and somehow everything falls into place!

My 4th season as Equipment Manager was absolutely amazing. Seeing the lads lift three trophies, while adding three caps to start my own collection, was something I’ll never forget. My time at Sutton has now come to an end, and I’ll be forever grateful for the opportunities they gave me.

Now, going into my 5th season, I’ve made the jump to the “Dark Side” (Sheffield) 😂

Being a Sutton / Notts lad..
I can already hear my Dad when I look up, but I know he’d be so proud.

I’m really looking forward to stepping up to a higher league with the Sheffield Scimitars in NIHL1. Continuing to develop myself and upping my game behind the scenes.

As always, at the end of another season, I want to personally thank everyone who has used my services, recommended me, supported me, or put in a good word. It genuinely means more than you know.

And, of course, a special mention to the person who stole my banner…
That helped massively! 😂

It can be incredibly hard work, balancing a full time job, being a Dad, a partner, and somehow running my own business single handedly.

It can be bloody hard work, but it’s all worth it.

I’m only open Monday - Thursday this week.

I will be closed all of next week ☀️☀️

Extended opening hours Tuesday & Thursday.

E2E level 5.0 will be ready for our 5th season, with a new workshop and opening days & hours. All to be revealed when I re open 😍

Just like graphic designers facing the battle with Chat GPT Flyers.

Traditional skate sharpening faces the same battle against automated machines.

Human touch will always give you an overall better result.
Hundreds of hours worth of practice, patience and perfecting the craft. This is what you’re paying for.

Just like a cheap tattoo.. if you pay less. You drop in quality.

Same goes with Skate sharpening.

Same goes with Graphic designers.

I can recommend lots of traditional hand skate sharpening services up and down the UK just like me.

But most importantly, the guys that support us by graphic designing need a nod!

We are pleased to announce the formation of the BenchLink Advisory Board!

The Advisory Board has been established to provide strategic guidance, industry expertise and professional insight as BenchLink continues to develop and expand.

We are delighted to welcome Jon Rogerson as our first Advisory Board members.

Jon brings extensive experience within British ice hockey, with a proven background in equipment management and team operations across clubs and national programmes. His experience and knowledge will be a valuable asset in supporting the continued development of BenchLink.

The Advisory Board will play an important role in helping shape the platform, ensuring BenchLink continues to develop in a way that best serves Equipment Managers, clubs, organisations and the wider hockey community.

We look forward to working alongside Jon and our Advisory Board members as BenchLink continues to grow.

Pre season is in full swing 🤩

To accommodate, I have opened up availability Friday evening.

I have only 2 spaces available Thursday evening.

Bladetech order is due to be posted out on the 25th. If anyone wants to jump on this whilst it is in production, I’ve had the all clear to add on to this order 😊
