Stourbridge Rugby First XV plays in National League Two West, Panthers - ladies team in NC2 midlands (West) and 2 social adult teams. Stourbridge Lions RFC XV plays in Midlands One West (North)
Our home at Stourton Park is also the home of British Police Rugby and is a great venue for any event.

Fresh from an impressive 59-0 victory over the RAF U23s last Friday, our Lions are back under the lights again this week as they make the short trip to Bromsgrove for their next pre-season test.

We’ve named two Lions teams, with one taking to the field for the first half and the other for the second, with players rotating throughout.

It’s a great opportunity to get plenty of minutes into the squad and a run-out in the first of three pre-season fixtures.

We’re pleased to announce our Panthers leadership team for the 2026/27 season! 💗💙

Leading the Panthers on the pitch this season will be:

🐾 Captain: Millie Bassett
🏉 Vice Captain, Backs: Lauren Taylor
💪 Vice Captain, Forwards: Jasmine Faulkner-Harper

They’ll be working alongside our brand new Head Coach Gareth Simpson, who joins Christian ‘Rhino’ Lewis and Manager Darren Bassett in leading the Panthers into the new season.

It’s an exciting new chapter for the Panthers as they head into their fifth season, during our historic 150th anniversary year.

Congratulations Millie, Lauren and Jas on your appointments, and a very warm welcome to Gareth. We’re looking forward to seeing what this team can achieve together this season! 🐾🏉
