Bannockburn Rugby Club

Bannockburn Rugby Club We're a community rugby club based in Bannockburn, near Stirling. From P1 to adult rugby there’s a place for you.

Bannockburn Rugby Club was started by former pupils from St Modans High School in Stirling. Playing under the banner of St Modans FP's until the name was changed in 1996 to Bannockburn Rugby Club. The club play their home matches at the Bluebellwood Clubhouse sited in Bannockburn and presently run 2 senior XV and also have a mini/midi setup which meet on a Sunday morning. The club played their fir

st match in 1979 against HMS Neptune and entered the Midland league in 1980 until they joined the Glasgow set up in 1982 where they stayed until 1994 before rejoining the Midlands set up. In the 2000-01 season the club reached the heady heights of gaining promotion into the National leagues for the first time in their history. The club has also produced some players who have since gone onto greater things with other clubs, namely Newcastle Prop George Graham and Scotland B player Eddie Po***ck. The club are now concentrating on the youth set up and have forged links with local schools and have a thriving Junior set up which will hopefully bring through the players of the future. The club are also founding members of the Forth Valley Association of Rugby Clubs

🏳️‍🌈 Stirling Pride 2026! 🏳️‍🌈

Another fantastic day celebrating with Stirling Pride! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

After helping with the set-up in the morning, we joined the parade from King’s Park into the city centre — and what a brilliant atmosphere! 🎉

Our Bannockburn flags definitely proved to be a must-have, helping us stand out and show our support along the way! 🏳️‍🌈🙌

A brilliant day of community, inclusion and celebrating together. 💪❤️

Already looking forward to next year! 🌈

Rugby is not just for one type of child 🏉

It is for children who love to move.
Children who need space to use their energy.
Children who want to make friends.
Children who are still finding their confidence.
Children who just want to have fun.

This summer, as clubs get ready for the new season, we’re sharing young players’ stories as part of Turn Up and Play.

Find your local club and discover a place where your child can move, belong and be themselves ➡️ https://tinyurl.com/bdcp3mpk
