Sometimes all it takes for me to switch my mindset from worried and preoccupied to excited and wide open is to lift my head and look at the sky. It is an experience of opening up to something much bigger than me. Opening up humility and wonder and perspective.

This solstice a rare phenomenon called nacreous clouds lit up the sky at dusk above our Nottinghamshire home withan awesome dance of colour. As if the sky was throwing a party. And it blew my mindset wide open.

Wishing you a moment of wide eyed wonder this New Year, and that you carry its precious spark into 2024.
