Leafield Athletic Ladies FC One of the first Midlands clubs dedicated to women and putting women's football first ever since. Our club journey began way back in 1997.

We were one of the first clubs in the Midlands dedicated to female players - and ever since, we have been committed to putting women and women's football first. We are proud of the countless players who have passed through the club. Some who went all the way to the top of the game like Eni Aluko, and others who now bring their daughters to where they once played. Today, we have a first team that p

lays in the FA National League Division One Midlands, junior teams in every age group from Wildcats to under 18s, and licensed FA coaches and managers at every level. We also have our own dedicated grounds in Solihull, multiple grass pitches, and a clubhouse that has witnessed many a great game (and post-match party). Now in our 25th anniversary season, whilst we are proud of our journey, we are even more excited about where we go next. Join us and be part of a movement changing the game, forever. It was so good to see the club busy today, with girls back out on the grass, the sun shining, and a new season beginning. There’s nothing better than seeing pitches full of energy, smiles, and football being played again.

A huge welcome and well done to our new U9 team, who stepped out for their very first match today. You represented the club brilliantly — great effort, great attitude, and great teamwork. We’re excited to see how you grow together and what the season holds for you! 💛🖤

A huge, heartfelt well done to our Leafield Leopards for taking part in the Race for Life today.

They took on the challenge in seriously hot conditions, but still ran with huge smiles, plenty of laughter and so much pride in memory of Lisa - a wonderful footy mum who is deeply missed. Their spirit today showed exactly what the Leafield family is all about.

We are incredibly proud to share that the team has already raised £2,400 for such an important cause, and there is still time to give.

A composed, solid defender with plenty to offer, Lizzie brings quality, experience and a winning mentality to our back line.

We’re delighted to have her with us for another season and can’t wait to see what she delivers in 2026/27.
