🎙️ TWO RHINOS. TWO ACADEMY PATHWAYS.

There’s some very good news coming out of our U15 Rhinos.

Joe is heading into the Coventry Rugby Academy pathway, after being put forward by DK, while Frankie has been selected for the Gloucester Rugby Foundation pathway, after being put forward by his school.

Two boys. Two different routes. One very exciting opportunity for each of them.

They’ll now get the chance to learn, develop and experience rugby in a different environment alongside everything they’re already doing with the Rhinos.

And quietly, it says something about this group too.

There’s talent here. And there’s room for a few more.

So if you’re in Year 10 and rugby has been somewhere in the back of your mind, perhaps it’s time to give it a go.

On the mics, quite the combination. A Grumpy Old Lock, Big Camp Prop and a Sassy Little Fox. What could possibly go wrong? 👀

They’ll be with us throughout the season, talking rugby, life around Heathbrook, the stories that usually stay behind the scenes and welcoming plenty of guests along the way.

And Elijah? He’s behind the scenes pushing the buttons and keeping an eye on proceedings. Someone probably needs to.

A 19–12 win for our boys over at Walsall today brings our pre season friendlies to an end.

A great afternoon of rugby and a chance for the players to have one final game together before the league season begins on Sat 26 September.

Thank you to everyone at Walsall for making us so welcome and for the hospitality afterwards. And, as always, thank you to everyone who travelled over with DK.

Our DK senior men are making the short trip to Walsall this afternoon for our final pre season fixture.

The last few months have been about getting the work in, bringing the squad back together and preparing for what comes next. Today is another chance for the players to get some rugby under their belts before attention turns to Sat 26 Sept.

The clubhouse will be open Saturday and Sunday too, so come in, grab a drink and catch some of the action.
