Great idea, try on dry land in a relaxed fun way, transfer to the pool if/ when required and your swimmer is ready 👍🏼

Babies and young toddlers don't need goggles or armbands, however older toddlers and pre school swimmers may be curious, so consider trying this at home before you try in the pool

Here's some tips from our friends at Aquasplash ;

Goggles and armbands are great bits of kit, but.... Often children don't understand why they are using them, how they feel on their skin, how to put them on correctly.

Wearing them at home gives swimmers time to practice away from the pool with no lesson time pressure. Even better, wear goggles in the shower or bath, practice taking them off and putting them back on independently

Also.... It's pretty fun to watch your children wander around the house in their swimming kit!
