What a fantastic achievement to be announced as one of the nominees for the prestigious Club Awards, organised by Club Mirror.
This recognition is a huge credit to the club and everyone who makes Silloth Rugby Club what it is.
Our club has always been about far more than rugby. It is a place where people come together, friendships are made, opportunities are created and our community is supported.
We are incredibly proud of the way Silloth Rugby Club works with and alongside sporting and non-sporting organisations, welcoming people of all ages and abilities and supporting projects, events and initiatives that benefit our wider community.
From our volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes, to our players, members, families, supporters, sponsors and community partners — everyone has played a part in building a club that Silloth can be proud of.
There is no “I” in team — and this recognition belongs to the whole Silloth Rugby Club family.

🎨🚴‍♀️ OUR FINAL 6 ARE HERE! 🚴‍♀️🎨

We were absolutely blown away to receive 105 entries into our Lloyds Tour of Britain Women 2026 children’s colouring competition!

After looking through all the fantastic entries, we have now selected our Final 6. 🏆👏

We would love your help in choosing the winner!

The children taking part were aged 4 upwards, and the standard of entries has been fantastic. Every single child who took part deserves a huge thank you. ❤️

A special thank you to Zoe Forster for encouraging children at her summer camps to get involved, and to all the parents, families and volunteers who supported them.

This was one of our main aims of taking part in the Tour of Britain event — getting our children involved, bringing our community together and giving them something exciting to be part of.

ADULT MALE SOCIAL RUGBY PROG - 2026/27
Thank you to everyone who completed our survey about Social Rugby in Cumbria. Clearly a real desire to utilise this as a recruitment and retention tool for all clubs working together.
This has been one of the biggest responses we have ever had to any survey we have circulated. Loads of positive comments and ideas to implement for Season 26/27.
As such we are hosting a meeting for ANY interested individuals on the 7th September at Cockermouth Rufc - 6:45 for 7pm start.
We can have a discussion and look to put in place a series of events for the coming season. Clubs can host around key calendar events and we will hopefully also have a grant 💰 to support with the running of this through our County Plan.
We look forward to seeing you there! Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided! 👍
