Silloth on Solway Golf Club

Silloth on Solway Golf Club Welcome to Silloth On Solway Golf Club, one of the best links golf courses in Britain

A number of blind holes still remain, architecturally-incorrect in the modern era, but a source of uncertainty, surprise and occasional delight to successive generations of members and visitors. Some of the original sandy wastes remain as heroic hazards, but the course is mostly clad in mature dune flora that is ideal for presenting the great challenge of links golf.

Amazing achievement to play in 100 consecutive majors.

Amazing achievement to play in 100 consecutive majors.

100 NOT OUT 🇦🇺💪

It is, quite simply, one of the greatest achievements ever in the history of Australian sport.

This week, Adam Scott joins Jack Nicklaus as the only other golfer to ever play 100 majors straight.

It's a streak that dates all the way back to 25 years ago, one year after Scott made his majors debut.

From the 'whoah' moment he was scouted, to his 'Tiger-like' rise, Masters glory ... and the massive career call that made him a golfing hero.

With voices of those who've known him since the beginning, go inside this spectacular achievement 👏👏 👏

A beautiful drone video showing the 2nd half of our 13th hole which looks quite calm and tame in the video. Those of you that have played it when the wind is blowing know it is a very different beast!

A fantastic couple of days in St Andrews for Brian and Matthew at The R&A Golf & Nature event

It was brilliant to spend time with people from across Europe who are all passionate about the future of sustainability and biodiversity in golf

Across the event, we took part in live webinars, discussions about how golf can continue to lead positively in these areas, and shared ideas with others working to make a real difference on and off the course.

One of the highlights was visiting parts of the local dune system to see some of the restoration and conservation work being carried out there first hand

We also enjoyed spending time in the World Golf Museum in St Andrews ️ — including stopping to watch I.K. Kim putting with a very old wooden putter… although we’re still waiting for the putting lesson to sink in!

A really inspiring trip and something we’re proud to have been part of as we continue pushing forward with sustainability and biodiversity work here at the club.

Brilliant to See Aaron Rai win the PGA Championship at Aronimink. Going into the final round with so many players in contention it looked unlikely that someone would win by 3 shots. He kept the ball in play better than his rivals and if you weren’t on the fairway it was difficult to score.

It's coming home 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏆🎶
