Silloth on Solway Golf Club has introduced three Belted Galloway cattle to its dune system as part of a carefully managed conservation grazing project.

Oreo, Cecil and Min Moo Lee are grazing land between the golf course and the coast on the SSSI site, helping the team restore habitat, support rare wildlife and explore whether grazing could eventually be used in out-of-play areas on the course itself.

A brilliant day yesterday for our inaugural Prostate Cancer Support Open Competition.
Amazing to see 140 men come along and get a PSA test at the club and to help a very worthy charity.
Thanks to Jimmy Lettice for his work in setting this up and great to work alongside Silloth Rugby Club to deliver this event.
A lot of money raised and a lot of awareness raised too.
