Sheffield Hallam Mens Rugby Union Four teams of various ability, three of which partake in weekly BUCS fixtures. All abilities welcome.

Training takes place on a Monday evening 7-9pm, and on a Friday 4-5pm at Bawtry Road Sports Park.

The countdown to the new season starts now. Whether you’re returning for another year or looking to pull on the Hallam shirt for the first time, we want to see you there.

Training kicks off 7th September, with our Freshers Trials on the 18th & 23rd and a preseason fixture against Sheffield Tigers RUFC on the 19th.

We are delighted to announce that Calvin Mitchell will be joining Sheffield Hallam RUFC as our new First Team Head Coach of the 2026/27 season! 🏉

Calvin brings a wealth of experience and passion for the game and we can’t wait to see the impact he’ll have on the squad building towards the coming season.

Please join us in both thanking Lewis Thiede and Morgan Bunting for the remarkable jobs they did last year as Head Coaches whilst also giving Calvin a huge Hallam welcome! Let’s make this season a good one 💪 !

As a club we are excited to announce an official partnership between ourselves and Sheffield Tigers RUFC

There has been a longstanding relationship between Hallam RFC and the national league 2 team, involving many big names wearing both badges simultaneously.

Among the names are:
Current tigers captain Joe fitszimons, former Hallam chairman and tigers star Dom Santamaria and former Hallam first team and club captain Jacob Jamieson

Current Hallam lads include:
Elie choumeler who has resigned for tigers for the 26/27 season. Teddy Marcy, Felix Henry and Tom Hughes who have been offered their first contracts for tigers for the upcoming season

Sheffield tigers first team play in the fourth tier of English rugby (national league 2) and their newly established 1932’s team will be playing in Yorkshire counties 2 this year.

Tigers provide a high standard of rugby in an incredibly competitive environment with a great group of lads. This partnership allows both teams to thrive as parts of the community, with players being provided the pathway to push their rugby career as far as possible.

We thank Sheffield tigers for this opportunity and we look forward to what is to come đź’ś

Evening rangorz and fan girls…

Tomorrow we take on po*ni of 2s (the undatable’s) in our last league game of the season. The boys are looking to warm up for varsity and take the spoils. This will be a tough game but the boys are looking to take the dub again.
