King’s Rochester Sports Centre has been owned and managed by King’s Rochester School since October 2012. The centre was acquired not only for its pupils’ recreation and sports classes, but also as a facility to be shared with the local community. As a 'dual use' Centre, our facilities cater for all dry side sports, recreational activities, private functions & conference hire. Since King’s took ove

r the running of the centre they have spent half a million pounds on its refurbishment plan. This has included a full redecoration and renovation of all internal areas throughout the Centre including refurbished flooring in our full-size Sports Hall, additional markings for indoor hockey and netball and the installation of a new range of cardio-vascular equipment in the fitness room. We have now completed our biggest transformation at the Centre; this includes the creation of 7 brand new outdoor tennis courts, 5 netball courts and 1 football pitch. This refurbishment provides excellent facilities including an LTA-approved tennis centre of excellence with an enhanced tennis programme for adults and juniors.
