🌲 The Calm Before the Storm 🌲

No music. No narration. Just our daily setup in the woods.

A quiet few minutes of opening camp, preparing the space, and getting ready for the day ahead. The birds are singing, the fire is crackling, and everything feels peaceful…

Then the group arrive. 😄

This is the calm before all hell breaks loose — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

🌲 Back in the Woods 🌲

This week our Home Ed group returned to the woodland, taking time to reconnect with the space, our tools, and each other.

We tracked deer through the woods, rebuilt camp, reset the tarp shelter, and refamiliarised ourselves with the rhythms of outdoor learning after the break. 🦌🏕️

A great start to the term with plenty of exploration, teamwork and discovery. Looking forward to funding out where the next few weeks of adventure in the woods will take us!🌿

Competitive, fearless, and a true artisan of his craft, Scotty brings intensity, precision, and an unmatched drive to everything he does.

Always pushing boundaries and refusing to settle for anything less than his best - he’s the kind of person who raises the bar for everyone around him.

A force to be reckoned with and an incredible asset to the S&R team — we’re lucky to have him 💪🔥

🔥Looking for something different for your event?🔥

This week we delivered an action-packed afternoon at Monkey Tree Holiday Park, introducing guests to fire lighting, animal tracking and slate crafts.

From sparks catching on a fire lay to discovering the stories hidden in animal tracks, the guests threw themselves into every challenge. The slate crafts were equally impressive, with some fantastic creativity and skill on display.

Our activities are designed to be hands-on, engaging and accessible, giving people of all ages the chance to learn new skills, connect with nature and create lasting memories.

🌿 Looking Back on an Action Packed Half Term 🌿

What a half term it has been… full of adventure, challenge, creativity and exploration. From building and crafting to problem-solving, teamwork and plenty of time out in the wild — it’s been a busy one! 🌲🔥

Most importantly though, we’ve seen confidence grow, resilience build, friendships strengthen and lots of smiles along the way. 💚

A huge well done to all our Home Ed learners for their effort, enthusiasm and willingness to throw themselves into every challenge.

👉 We have no spaces at the moment but we will do soon…
