🥇1st Place for our boys - "Scaled and Dangerous"

Huge congrats to Phil, Ryan and Tim who competed at CrossFit Newquay s SCALED UPRISING this weekend. After some score input confusion it turns out the boys actually won!! Don't worry - they will get their podium moment in the gym soon 🍾🏆

Some highlights!
🎖️TIMS FIRST COMP!!!
⭐ Phil PB - 2x Front Squat @ 100kg
⭐ Ryan PB - Clean and Jerk @ 95kg
⭐ Tim PB - Clean @ 72kg (+10kilos!!!!)

Annnnnnnd not to forget, a big thank you to those who went down to support. The Duchy energy at comps never fails to give our competors that extra push.

Tuesdays 🤝 Gymnastics

After a short hiatus we are happy that's GYMNASTICS IS BACK! Erin is ready and raring to go with a 3 week T2B block. Suitable for all abilities!

Come and work on your strength, your technique and your stamina. There's something to gain for everyone whether your a complete begginers, working towards your first T2B or a seasoned pro.

Yeeeeey 10years😍🏆

DUCHY BEACH DAY - SUN 9TH AUG @ 11AM

Meet on the beach, either come down early and help us move some sandbags and dumbells to the beach, or meet us there. Helen may also be organizing a run from Duchy down to the beach if anyone fancies that!

Then the fun will begin around 12oclock. Think sports day. Races, throwing a few weights around, team building, fun workout. Kids races too if we have enough mini mes wanting to join in.

Straight after we will cool of with a dip in the sea. If anyone is interested in a surf lesson we can get this organized with GAS (~£30pp). Just reply to my comment to register interest!

We will finish the day of with beach BBQ. Bring whatever you want to eat and maybe disposable BBQ. Arrange amongst yourselfs or just rock up!

OPEN TO EVERYONE! This is a big celebration of Duchy and the amazing community Dave has built. Bring ex members, friends, family, kids etc!
