RRC Weekly Round Up
On Saturday club member Kev took his breakfast tour to West Yorkshire, where he ran the ‘It’s Grim Up North Bingley 5k’ – rumours of a cheeky 1st place too 👀🥇 Well done Kev 👏
A bit north of Teesside, on Sunday, the Trail Outlaws Durham Trail races were being held, and we had two ladies representing the club in the 10 mile race – a big well done to Ali and Helen, great running 💪
Also, a quick mention to the ladies from the club who took part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5k at Stewart Park - a great event raising money for charity 👏
We had three events through the week, starting on Tuesday with the More than a Run 5k night series – well done to our two members Ian and Michael 👍🏃
On Wednesday there was the Burger and Trail event organised my New Marske Harriers at Foxrush woods – a great turnout of 8 runners from the club, who were awarded with a tasty burger – some may have had two 😛
The Esk Valley Summer Series continued at the Whorlton Fell Run – once again Rob was out on the hills representing the club – well done Rob ⛰💪
Three sessions were held at the club training night – hill reps, intervals, and an easy run – lots of choice for our members depending on their training status 🏃♀️🏃
It’s looking like a quiet weekend regarding race events, so let us know if you’re running anywhere this weekend
Well done to everyone that ran in the past week – let us know if you ran anywhere else 👍
