Afan Spartans Boxing Club Afan Spartan Amateur Boxing Club was established in 1997. Originally as Afan boxing club. The teaching is voluntary run by two quality experienced coaches

Originally as Afan Amateur Boxing Club based at the council owned sports pavilion. Located at Darwin Road playing fields in the Sandfields East Ward of Port Talbot South Wales. Now based at Church Street, Briton Ferry. Afan Spartans Boxing Club is an autonomous voluntary sports club which is also affiliated to the WABA. The club is run exclusively by a small team of dedicated qualified boxing coa

ches and volunteers who give up their time freely to provide opportunities for local people. The Club pays a rental fee to use the facilities, with some small pockets of grant aid and general fundraising have purchased a practice ring and other essential equipment including punch bags, skipping ropes and boxing gloves.
