✨ Kindness Post ✨

One of the biggest reasons we created NFSL was to bring communities together — women of all ages and people from all backgrounds — through the sport we all love, netball. Our aim has always been to create a fun, social and welcoming environment where everyone can enjoy the game, make friends and support one another both on and off the court. ❤️

Last night truly showed what community netball is all about. Ponty Storm faced Bridgend Bolts, with both teams only having the bare 7 players. When one of the Bolts players sadly went down injured, Ponty Storm immediately offered to take off one of their players to even the teams up. 👏

It was such a lovely act of sportsmanship and kindness, and exactly the type of atmosphere we want NFSL to be known for. Competitive, supportive, inclusive and full of community spirit.

A huge well done to both teams for showing what summer netball is really about. 💙🏐

💥 U16s Finish a Long Season 💥

Our Under 16s unfortunately lost their final game of the season to Llantrisant Blacks 31-22 👏

It has been a long and demanding season, and for things to come down to the very last game shows just how hard this team has worked throughout the year 💪

The girls finish the season 2nd in the league, an achievement they should be incredibly proud of after competing and improving week after week. Some days the result goes your way, other days it does not, that is sport 😅

Now the attention turns to tour, and safe to say this group are very much looking forward to swapping bibs and match balls for sunshine, laughs and questionable dance moves 😄☀️
