Clwb Rhedeg Pontardawe Running Club CRPRC is a Welsh Athletics affiliated running club for all abilities based in the Neath & Swansea Valley. Do you want to learn to run?

CRPRC was established by a small group of social runners in 2014 and has grown steadily since. The club, based in the Swansea Valley, is affiliated with Welsh Athletics and welcomes runners of all abilities. From absolute beginners to more experienced runners, we provide regular running opportunities in a warm and friendly environment. Our dedicated committee is always looking for ways to improve

the runs we offer and the training of our coaches which means that you will get good advice and runs that suit you. Have you ever been put off joining a running club because you think everyone will be better and faster than you? If so, our beginners groups are perfect for you, as we will make you feel very welcome. All runs meet at Pontardawe leisure centre:

Tuesdays: 18.30

Thursdays: 18.30

Sundays: 09:30

So today our fabulous club celebrated with our Couch to 5k group as they completed 9 weeks of the NHS C25k programme. With support from our run leaders and regular club members they have gone from strength to strength, culminating in completing the Parc Coed Gwilym Parkrun this morning!! Llongyfarchiadau pawb! Our club members take part in Parkruns across the Uk (and further afield) every Saturday. So it’s only right that as a club we ‘pay back’ by organising a mass volunteer of a local Parkrun. Today was the turn of Cycle Route 43 parkrun, Ystalyfera! Well done team! Awesome job!
