🔴🔵Final whistle blows and the U14s walk off the field with a pretty secure 5-1 win.🔴🔵
Coach Jules with the write up:
Scrappy start to the game, we were on the backfoot, but relatively in shape and kept them as arms length for the entire half. We then began to grow into the game, our middle three were finding their men and we started creating chances.
Finally, on the stroke of HT, corner in from Elijah and Jacob was there to nod home to make it 1-0 at HT.
Second half, long throw in, their keeper made a mistake and Oliver was there to finish to make it 2-0. Oliver then quickly made it 3-0 with his second of the game.
Late into the half, Elijah playing left back, skipped around the last man and crossed for Morgan to make it 4-0, before finally Oliver back on for the last 10 mins to see if he could get his hatrick and he scored within a few minutes of being on the pitch!
We did conceed one goal from poor play at the back, but I called for them to play it short and play out, so I'll take responsibility for that one..
Overall, delighted with the win tonight.
