🏀 UNITY THROUGH BASKETBALL LADIES – DEVELOPMENT TEAM RECRUITMENT 🏀

Have you ever wanted to play basketball but never had the chance?

Maybe you've played before and are looking to get back into the game?

The Unity Through Basketball Ladies are looking to form a Development Team aimed at women who are new to the sport or returning after time away.

✅ Weekly coaching and skill development
✅ League games and real game-day experience
✅ Improve fitness while having fun
✅ Supportive and welcoming environment
✅ Training every Thursday evening

You'll be learning with the support of an amazing group of women and be coached by an absolute legend of the game! 💪

A huge congratulations to Claire Cormack on being named Unity Through Basketball Ladies Over 35s MVP at the Cardiff Masters 2026! 👏🏀

Claire was outstanding throughout the tournament, bringing energy, leadership and determination every time she stepped onto the court. One of the highlights of the weekend was her incredible shooting display, knocking down 4 three-pointers and helping drive the team forward when it mattered most. 🎯🔥

Her commitment, positive attitude and team-first mentality make her a valued part of the UTB family, and this award is thoroughly deserved.

Both players led by example throughout the tournament, showing commitment, determination and everything that Unity Through Basketball stands for. Their performances, leadership and team-first attitude were recognised with well-deserved MVP honours.
The Cardiff Masters is always a tough competition, but these two represented UTB with pride, passion and class from start to finish. 💪

A huge congratulations to both our Unity Through Basketball Masters teams on a fantastic weekend in Cardiff!
🏀 UTB Masters Over 40s Men ✅ 2 Wins ❌ 2 Losses
🏀 UTB Masters Over 35s Women ✅ 2 Wins ❌ 2 Losses
A special highlight of the tournament was the UTB men securing a fantastic victory over GB Masters – a result the team can be incredibly proud of! 💪🏀
Both teams showed tremendous commitment, resilience and determination throughout the weekend, representing Unity Through Basketball with pride in every game.
A massive thank you to Coach Leigh and Coach Jeff for their hard work, leadership and dedication in guiding the teams throughout the tournament. Your commitment to the players and the club is greatly appreciated. 👏
Thank you also to all the players, supporters, families and volunteers who continue to make UTB such a special club.

🏀 UTB Masters – Day 1 at the GB Masters Tournament, Cardiff 🏀
A solid first day for our UTB Masters teams, with both squads coming away with 1 win and 1 loss.
The standout result of the day was the men's team securing a fantastic victory over the GB Masters side 💪🔥. A huge performance full of determination, teamwork and belief.
It wasn't all plain sailing, with injuries forcing the team to reshuffle and reset positions throughout the day. Credit to every player who stepped up when called upon, adapted to the challenge and delivered when it mattered most 😃.
Plenty of positives to take from day one, and with more basketball still to come, both teams will be looking to build on today's performances.
One family. One team. UTB. ❤️🏀

The bags are packed, the playlists are ready, and it's time to hit the road!
Wishing all the Unity Through Basketball men and women the very best of luck as they head to Cardiff for the Masters Championships. Representing Plymouth with pride, passion, and plenty of team spirit, you've all earned the opportunity to compete on this stage.
Play hard, support each other, make memories, and enjoy every moment of the weekend. Whether it's on the court or off it, show everyone what the Unity family is all about.

We are proud to officially introduce the Unity Masters Over 35s squad heading to the GB Masters Basketball Tournament 2026 in Cardiff.

This team represents far more than basketball — it’s about friendship, passion, resilience, and a shared love for the game that continues long after the final whistle. Bringing together experienced players from different backgrounds, generations, and basketball journeys, Unity Masters is built on teamwork, support, and the belief that the game can still inspire at every age.

For many of us, basketball has been a lifelong passion. Now we get the opportunity to compete together, represent Unity Through Basketball, and show that the love for the game never fades.

We’re ready to compete, inspire others, and prove that strong women united by basketball can achieve something special together. 💚🏀
