Every year there’s a new miracle diet.

🥩 Keto.
🥓 Carnivore.
🥤 Juice cleanses.
🍎 The Apple Cider Vinegar Diet.
🥬 The “only eat foods that start with the letter Q” diet.

(Okay, I made that last one up… but give it time.)

Here’s the thing:

Most diets work.

At least in the short term.

Not because they’re magical.
Not because they “hack your metabolism.”
Not because some influencer with a six-pack said so.

They work because they usually make you eat less.

That’s it.

The problem?

Most people don’t need another diet.

They need something they can still do when:

Work gets busy
The kids are driving them mad
They’re on holiday
It’s Christmas
Life starts life-ing

Because if a diet only works when everything is perfect…

It doesn’t work.

A few red flags to watch out for:

>> It cuts out entire food groups
>> It promises rapid weight loss
>> It tells you one food is “toxic” and another is “magic”
>> It requires military-level willpower to stick to it
>> The person selling it makes more money when you fail and come back

The healthiest people I know aren’t following some secret diet.

They’re doing the boring stuff:

✅ Eating mostly real food
✅ Getting enough protein
✅ Moving regularly
✅ Sleeping well
✅ Drinking water
✅ Being consistent more often than they’re perfect

Not sexy.

Not exciting.

But it works.

And unlike the latest diet craze, you won’t be starting again next Monday.

There’s a photo nobody talks about.

Not the one you post on facebook.

Not the one you put on instagram.

The other one.

The one where someone tags you...

And your heartbsinks a little.

You look at it and immediately think:

“Do I really look like that?”

You zoom in.

You analyse it.

You compare it to older photos.

Then you try to convince yourself it’s just a bad angle.

I’ve spoken to hundreds of people over the years who’ve had that moment.

Maybe you’ve had it too.

It’s often not the scales that trigger people to make a change.

It’s a photo.

A holiday picture.

A family gathering.

A wedding.

A random snapshot someone took without warning.

And suddenly...

The image in your head doesn’t match the image looking back at you.

That’s usually when the frustration kicks in.

Not because of how you look.

But because of how you FEEL.

Less confident.

Less energetic.

Less comfortable in your own skin.

And here’s the thing.

Most people don’t actually want a six-pack.

They don’t want to spend their life tracking every calorie.

They don’t want to live on chicken and broccoli.

What they really want is:

more energy
more confidence
clothes fitting better
to stop avoiding photos
to feel like themselves again

That’s it.

And despite what the fitness industry tells you...

You don’t need to turn your life upside down to start moving in that direction.

Most people need:

a few better habits

a bit more structure

a bit more consistency

Not perfection.

Just progress.

Use it.
