On Saturday mornings, bright and early light,
The Little Warriors gather, ready for delight.
From three to six years old, so cheerful and so keen,
The happiest rugby players that you’ve ever seen.
They zig-zag through the cones with smiles upon their faces,
They race across the grass in speedy little chases.
They tackle bags with courage, they pass and run and play,
Learning skills and making friends in their own special way.
Some are fast as lightning, some are finding feet,
But every child is welcomed with a smile that’s warm and sweet.
There are laughs and muddy knees, and plenty of joyful noise,
For rugby’s not just for the girls or only for the boys.
At Waterhead Park each weekend, rain or shine we’re there,
Cheering every effort and showing that we care.
Building confidence and teamwork, having fun from start to end,
With coaches, mums, and dads all there to lend a hand and friend.
So if you’re looking for adventure, friendship, fun, and play,
