10 year challenge 😂

We are all shocked and deeply, deeply saddened to hear of the loss of our leader, our friend, and club legend Denzel Schrader who passed on Friday 5th April 2019. Denzel devoted himself to Oldham Baseball Club and worked tirelessly on and off the field to make sure this team of misfits had somewhere to play the sport they love. Denzel was known and loved across baseball in the north as a kind and friendly spirit, and will be sadly missed by all.

So as most people are aware Oldham North Stars haven't competed in the league this year due to lack of numbers in the previous year. We decided to have 12 months off and push for players old and new to play in the 2018 season.

HOWEVER AND A BIG HOWEVER!!!!!

On Saturday 26th August at 8pm some one or group decided to set our container on fire which housed everything from practice sessions to game day. We have lost everything, myself and everyone at the club are devastated. This has set us back to the beginning and could fold the club altogether. More of an update will follow but for now here are some pictures.

So the school has had contractors in drilling certain parts of the field without informing us. They've been driving straight through our diamond and the weather hasn't been great. As a result tomorrow's game v Manchester Torrent is off. Unsafe field. 😡😡😡💩💩 Happy Summer

Today's game away at County Durham Spartans is OFF. Tried holding out for as long as possible but Mother Nature always wins. Beautiful British Summer. Game will be rescheduled.
