HPPCC Notts Raft Racing Ladies

A Team of ladies that compete in White Water Raft Racing across Europe. We established in 2019

25/10/2026

What a weekend the ladies had down at Lee Valley White Water Centre for the 2027 GB selections. We have to wait for the official results from the selection board, but we had 3 amazing races where we took the top spots (glad we had 2 runs at Slalom!)
Nice to be racing along side some international teams from the Netherlands Forward Motion, Germany, Belgium & Switzerland.

Thank you to all the volunteers that made the event happen, and especially our coaches Matt Evans Matthew Footitt & Joel Lewis-Grey for their continued guidance & instruction.

Thank you also to our amazing sponsors, for their continued support ❤️

Tough first 2 days of racing for us this week, with an unfortunate call back in our second sprint run yesterday resulting in an unexpected extra raft carry/scramble on the rocks and a tough first round draw against a strong Czech boat in todays RaftX, however we have paddled well with some good lines and pushed all the way to the finish.
One more day of racing to go with slalom tomorrow evening starting around 16:00 CET.

Just one week to go before we head out to Banja Luka, Bosnia for the European Rafting Championships, thank you to our coaches Matt Evans, Matthew Footitt & Joel Lewis-Grey who come rain or shine are there to guide us. We really couldn’t make it to all these incredible races across the world without the generosity of our sponsors & family.
Thanks you to …..

Day 1 of racing at the United Rafting World Cup in Pau saw us on the podium with Bronze medal in the Sprint. Great course, with fast water and a lot of features, looking forward to RX tomorrow, an event we haven’t tried before.

2026 Update....
So we haven't really posted since the high of Malaysia but we are still here 😆
Unfortunately, we had a little setback just weeks before selections (Beth decided to injure her back/neck), which meant she wasn't available to race. Thankfully, Emilyfrom the U23 team was able to 'double' race allowing the team to still be selected for this year's racing.

Thanks to , Beth is getting back to fitness for our 1st race of the year, World Cup Pau. On Tuesday (21st April) the team will be heading over to France to race in the new United Rafting Race series.

Stay tuned for more details

We would like to thank for their support in keeping us hydrated whilst out on the rivers. These 100% leakproof vacuum insulated double-walled stainless steel personalised bottles, with a hygienic full flip top cover, help us to perform at our best.
With them being suitable for -5°C to 95°C beverages, they are perfect for keeping our drinks cold in the hot climates, and hot in our freezing winters!
With their handy carry loop, we can easy attach them to our raft, keeping us looking stylish.

2025, what a year! This year has seen countless hours spent training on our home course in Nottingham, becoming IRF European Champs in Bulgaria taking home a clean sweep in all 4 disciples and rounded off with a fantastic week in Malaysia for the IRF World Championships taking home our first World medals with an overall silver, H2H gold, and Slalom silver!
Not sure how we can top it in 2026, but we are excited to see what the new year brings and all the memories that will undoubtedly come along with it!
Massive thanks to everyone that has supported us this year and enabled us to race at both international events!
