Tomorrow night the Toy Library are running their annual Winter Woodland Walk, this is a lovely evening for local families and children, with Christmas lights in the trees, a huge lit Christmas tree, the secret winter tiki torch pond, a huge bonfire for roasting marshmallows and fun woodland activities for the kids.
And so far (fingers crossed) it looks like we've got good weather for the day!
This year you'll find the club staff in our new winter cabin in the woods playing some Christmas tunes and handing out free food to the children, with Jacket Potatoes with festive Turkey and Cranberry Chilli, Hot Tomato & Basil Soup, and home-made gingerbread cookies! There may be a little present for the children too! Adults are of course welcome to food too for a small donation to the toy library.
Free parking is available at the top of the park near barkers wood or down in the golf club car park.
The Woodland walk runs from 3:30pm - 5:30pm and is the perfect way to start the Christmas season and best of all... this event is entirely FREE!
The Toy Library staff donate their time and energies to bring a little Christmas magic to local families and we're always happy to support them. We hope we get to see as many of you as possible tomorrow night!
