Hucknall Swimming Club Amateur Swimming Club
Nottinghamshire ASA affiliated. Hucknall Swimming Club is a merger between Falcons ASC & Hucknall & Linby Dolphins, merged in 2022.

We aim to provide a swimming club to Hucknall, Linby and the surrounding areas from very beginner swimmers to competitive swimming through to the swimmers who can compete at a national level. Our swimming journey starts at Southglade leisure centre, with a cubs swimming squad - designed for our youngest swimmers. Once a child progresses enough, they are then able to join our junior development squ

ads at Hucknall Leisure Centre, where they can continue to achieve to the best of their ability. Some of our older swimmers stay at the club whilst at University and beyond. We swim are various pools in and around Hucknall.

The starting place for an official is time keeping, this involves a small course and some practical practice shadowing another time keeper. Then you can continue learning through the Judging courses all the way up to Referee!

Day 2 of volunteers week and we are shining a spotlight on our poolside helpers!
These people are starting their life in coaches and gaining experience! They support coaches poolside. This year we have been lucky enough to gain 9 new poolside helpers, hopefully who will looking at gaining their Assistant Coaches qualification soon!
If you want to see if coaching is for you, speak to Darren poolside. Although a background in swimming is helpful, it is not a requirement to help!
