We are a friendly Dodgeball club located in Bilborough, near Nottingham. We are open to players of all abilities (from complete beginners to international level), and all genders! Dodgeball has many advantages over other sports, but none more than its absolute accessibility. It is played right across the world by people of all ages, sexes and sporting abilities. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? First session is free, then £6 thereafter. If you purchase our club membership we offer discounted sessions (£5 or £4 if you're in education) - for details drop us a message
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Sports clothing, or anything that you feel comfortable running around in. Footwear with decent grip is recommended, although any trainers/plimsolls will be sufficient. For our Tuesday sessions please bring anyone you like, everyone is welcome, it doesn’t matter about your ability or skill level as full coaching is provided. For our Wednesday sessions, we recommend you check on our Spond to see who is welcome at the session. DO THE BALLS HURT? The balls are designed to be non-sting, and are a lot nicer than the rubber balls in the film Dodgeball: an underdog story.They can hurt if you get hit in more sensitive areas such as the nose; however this is in a rare occurrence. CAN UNDER 18s PLAY? Yes, so long as you are over 15. I'M A STUDENT AT A LOCAL UNIVERSITY, CAN I COME TRAIN WITH YOU? Of course, the more the merrier! We are very happy for students members of other clubs to come join us. :) For anyone interested, the local university Dodgeball teams are Balls of Steel (University of Nottingham) and Trent Titans (NTU).
