Snetterton Bemsee 🏁

Another weekend treated as testing on the Suzuki, took some scrubs and with help from the guys at Bridge street got stuck into some races with the 1000s (Bemsee don’t allow next gen 750s out with the 600s despite the restricted engine)

We got into it with the new data logger and managed to spin some respectable lap times and improve feeling on the bike. I ran 2:02s early on and finished P14 in the final race with an SC1 rear tire reaching 100 laps before the race was over 🫪

Highlight of the weekend was going from P20 to P11 round the outside through turn one in the last race, but most importantly really enjoying it again after a few years struggling with bike issues and bad luck, good to be back

Cadwell Report 📖

A little late with this one:

Once again treating this as testing and we made some big progress. Results are still not quite there but I was able to stay in the race early on and make some big progress getting down to a 1:36.830 - work to do but happy with the progress.

The slower corners are still proving to be a challenge but my sector 1 time was within half a second of the leaders by the end of the weekend so the flowing stuff is now clicking. Looking forward to getting the final bits of set up dialled in and being competitive for race distance again.

Back where I belong

Brands Hatch GP in 30+ degrees after a year off was never going to be easy but thanks to the team around me we made huge progress with the bike.

More of a testing weekend and I am super happy with the outcome, making big changes to set up with every ride to find a solid base. The bike has heaps of potential and I’m feeling good despite the time off.

Friday: 1:43.24
Saturday: 1:38.06 (-5.18)
Sunday: 1:36.66 (-1.40)

Very proud to have taken a complete road bike and with the help of some legends put it on track as a full spec supersport machine 🔥

One last dance one the Kawi, with a fresh gearbox it’s running smooth again. I’ll miss this bike but it’s time for a change. It’ll be up for sale in the next week or drop me a message for details ✉️

📢 Announcement 📢

I will be missing Anglesey and likely the remainder of the 2025 season. This is not what I wanted to be posting but a combination of mechanical, physical, and financial challenges have put me in a position where it is more sensible to cut loses and get ready for 2026.

I am gutted after putting in so much work in the build up and during this season. At times when everything clicked I have been able to produce really solid pace but unfortunately this has only been a flash in the pan around other issues.

After a troublesome 2024 it’s tough to be back in this spot again but one lesson learned last year was that it’s not worth it or safe if things aren’t right. With some luck I won’t be done riding this year but for the near future we will be parked. Hope everyone has a good run in the remaining races and we can be back at it next year.
