So Heyford Blues returned to league action on Wednesday evening against Blisworth Bears

Unfortunately after a long school day we seemed to lack the energy levels and quality that served us so well the previous Sunday.

The opposition quickly took the lead and we didn’t recover throughout the game.

Our second half performance was a lot better with pride and determination shown.

MOM was our Centre Back, strong on the tackle, covered really well and played some excellent passes.

And it all starts again!!

Heyford Athletic Blues started their league season away to Wootton.

A really impressive and connected performance allowed us to take home all 3 points and a clean sheet!!

MOM today was our new signing, he played in both central midfield and then moved up front, 2 goals and an assist on debut 👏👏

So proud of the whole U13’s Blue squad today! 👏🏆

Every single player gave absolutely everything, playing for each other and showing incredible commitment in every game.

The quality of our play, teamwork, and determination were outstanding from start to finish. When it mattered most, the players showed nerves of steel in the penalty shootouts, displaying great composure and character.

A huge well done to every player—you’ve thoroughly deserved this success. To top off what has been an exceptional season with a trophy is fantastic.

This is close to a lot of people’s hearts at Heyford club. Any help and support for Julie and Ollie taking on this challenge to raise money for cancer research 💙

A huge well done to our U9s today! They played brilliantly and thoroughly deserved their trophy.

With no subs in the heat, every single player worked their socks off and showed fantastic determination. It was a shame to miss out on the top spot by just one point, but what an achievement for a team that has only been together for half a season.

They're already excited for the new season 👏

A fantastic way to finish Heyford's tournament season. Well done, everyone! ⚽🏆

Another tournament for our U8's and another penalty shoot out...

The players were fantastic from start to finish, working hard and showing just how much they have developed over the season.

Sadly, their day came to an end on penalties... again! Between the U8s and U9s, we've definitely had our quota of penalty shootouts for the year. 😂

Every player should be incredibly proud of themselves.

Today was tournament day for our U9s, and they battled brilliantly. It was so lovely to see just how far they’ve come and how much they’ve progressed as a team.

Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be today — knocked out in the semi-finals on penalties! Two days of penalties… can we bring back golden goal? 😂

So proud of them all. Well done U9s!

Our U8's kicked off Heyford's tournament season today.

They did amazing, coming top of their group - undefeated all day but sadly losing on penalties in the final.

They did themselves and Heyford proud - scoring cracking goals, amazing saves from the 3 keepers, great battling, running and passing with exceptional sportsmanship too. 👏👏
