There's a space for everyone in rugby.

A few days ago we appreciated the characteristics of the majestic prop. Today it's scrum halves.

They're short, no one ever believes they play rugby, but what they lack in stature, they make up for in attitude.

If this describes you, please get in touch. Coaches love having small gobby people in the team.

WINNER

The winner of our name the swan competition from Pride on Saturday has been chosen.

The competition was fierce.

Our swan isn't going to be called Dave, Bertie, Swanny McSwanface or Swanzilla.

Our winner is Antonia who suggested Marshmallow.

Marshmallow can now go and live with Antonia and who I am sure will be glad to have another cuddly toy in the house...

AGM NOTICE

Please check your emails - everyone who is a member of the club should have received an email via GMS about the upcoming AGM.

It's a chance to get involved, listen to what's been going on in the last year, plans for the year ahead and to throw your hat into the ring for a committee post.

The full list of available positions are included on the email and nomination deadline of 1 July.

The only person we are stuck with is Percy as President is a 2 year term.

Everything else is up for grabs.

Could you be our next treasurer? Do you fancy getting involved supporting our youth? Do you know a lot about safeguarding or facilities?

Drop us a DM - or have a chat to Bertie, Lynne, Percy or Les.

I think the T1 team have beaten the swans.

They managed a pyramid of..... 12. That's 12, right?

Including some one handed show boating from the base of the pyramid.

Who can beat 12? We want to see that final top two layers.
