A strong end to the season! Tonight we won at home to California Bowls Club 6-0, to follow on from last week's 5-1 win away at Bredfield Playing Fields Bowls Club.

Looking forward now to seeing the final league tables, but overall it's been a strong season for us with lots of new players at the club, and performing well.

Tough match at home tonight against Bredfield Playing Fields Bowls Club.

After our mower broke for the second time in 2 weeks we didn't think we'd even be able to play tonight, but thankfully a replacement was found at short notice!

At least we managed to get a point. Hopefully we can get a few more wins next week after a few losses recently.

Lovely away match Bealings Bowls Club this evening. What a great setting for bowls.

Unfortunately it was a 5-1 loss for us, but a great highlight was the big comeback staged by Garry, Bill & David over the last few ends to win their match and gain that point for us!

On rink 2, Toby, Mark & Barry lost by 10 with the opposition skill putting in a superb performance to turnover many heads.

On rink 1, Kevin, Brooke & Colin were involved in a yo-yo battle which was 19 all after 19 ends but then Bealings took both of the last 2 ends, to win by 3.

5-1 win for the team at home against Copdock.Good performance all round!

Away at Westerfield Bowls Club Ipswich last night in the 2-wood.

We had a great time with good relaxed and friendly company on the green, but lost 5-1, despite a very playable green.

Unfortunately it was a 5-1 loss away Bramford Bowls Club tonight, on a dry, fast and turning green.

Well done to new member Fletcher for making his debut (alongside Bill & David) and doing well in a close fought match on rink 2. Out on rink 3, Mark, Steve & Barry had an up and down match with plenty on high scoring ends being traded. On rink 1 Kevin, Brooke & Colin emerged victorious after a strong start but then saw off a big comeback with a strong last few ends!

It was the local derby match against nearby rivals Capel St Mary Bowls club in the Monday 2-bowl league.

We had a great well contested match across all 3 rinks but Bentley were able to pull away over the last ends to win 6-0. Congratulations goes to Max who played very well at lead to achieve his first win.
