It is with great sadness I have to say that Geoff died on 1st October. Logo Saddlery is no more after 32 years. He was unique, especially all his handmade hand-stitched polo knee guards. I will miss all our lovely customers. Lyn.

What do we do with this? It’s a very old 100 years + Gladstone bag which has been in our possession for nearly 20 years. It’s over 2ft long and 15’’ wide! We are asking £120 for it as it is but repaired and refurbished to our standard would add a lot more to the cost! There must be someone who would love it and have a use for it!

The start of the refurbishment of a pair of bellows. The first job is to gather hazel branches. These are stripped of the bark and bent to the correct shape and held in place by bands. These are left for a few days until they hold the shape.

The next stages to follow at a later date.

We had a visit from Sarah, features editor of LandScape magazine this morning. Geoff showed her how to use some of the tools which are very old. She learned how to stitch and make a thread. He also helped her to start making a belt for herself and she’s going to collect it this afternoon after he has finished it.
