Friendly for the lads today against a good Aycliffe Youth side, they picked up from were they left off last week and put in a brilliant performance, playing some really good, quick, free flowing football in a dominant win!

Something has clicked with this set of boys in the last 3 months and you can see massive improvements and they are only going to get better.

120 plus youngsters, aged between 3 & 12, enjoying an hours football coaching at Hall Drive 👍

Fantastic group of coaches, putting the youngsters through their paces, finished off with the world famous Marton FC hot dog 🌭😉

Finally had chance to thank everyone, for making last Saturday's Marton Football Club outdoor presentation a huge success 👏🏆👏🏆👏🏆👏

Massive thanks to all the volunteers, who helped set up on the Friday & Saturday morning & tidy away on the Sunday 👍

The day itself requires a small army of people to help make the day run smoothly, again the Club are always well looked after & again I can't thank them all enough.

Sadly one of Marton Football Club former players, Anth Renton passed away at the weekend.

An outstanding footballer in his junior days at Marton FC, resulted in Anth being signed on by Middlesbrough FC.

Cruelly, Anth was diagnosed with a serious illness & never got to fulfill his exceptional talent.

Anth never stopped fighting, you couldn't wish to meet a nicer lad, nobody had a bad word to say about Anth, one of life's good uns was Anth.

Everyone at Marton FC send their love & deepest sympathy to all of Anth's family & friends.

RIP Anth 💙
