Middlesbrough Cricket Club Middlesbrough Cricket Club is one of the most successful and welcoming clubs in the area.

Middlesbrough Cricket Club is one of the most successful cricket clubs in the area with great facilities and strong teams in both senior and junior sections. Our three senior sides compete in the NYSD league with our first team winning 3 premier league championships in the last 5 years. Our U11, U13, U15 and U17 junior sides compete in the NYACC league and run regular coaching sessions by qualified, experienced coaches.

A big congratulations to Eben Forbes who scored his first senior 50 on Sunday for our 3rd team away at Billingham!

Eben’s knock of 64* came off 87 balls which included six 4’s and one 6’s. This knock was vital to allow the 3rd team to post 212-4

🚨WEEKEND RESULTS🚨

Saturday saw league leaders and champions Barnard castle visit Acklam Park. The visitors came out on top on a difficult spinning wicket against our 1st team!

The 2nds took on Norton and were very unlucky not to force the win. A first club 50 for new signing Shaf the highlight of the batting.

On Sunday the 3rd team took on Billingham. Batting first we posted 212 which saw a first senior 50 for Even Forbes. In response Max Lonsdale was the pick of the bowlers.

From preparing and planning fixtures, to coaching juniors, scoring matches, organising events, fundraising, serving on committees, and helping behind the scenes—your dedication keeps our club thriving.

Today we hosted the second round of fixtures in the new NYSD U9s League. We welcomed teams from Stockton, Yarm, Great Ayton, Thornaby and Norton to Acklam Park for 6 fixtures in an action packed few hours in the sunshine. Wonderful to see so many families supporting all the kids and another 6 debuts from our u9s! UTB! ⚫️⚪️🟣

Today we hosted TABS CC - Thorp Arch & Boston Spa Cricket Club with some of U11 players taking on TABS CC U11’s - Boro bowled well with Hunter, Rory D and Mollie taking wickets.

TABS bowled very well against our opening pair who built a good foundation, Rory B going on to top score and despite a dogged last pair partnership, TABS bowling strength saw them to victory and with the scent of BBQ burgers wafting over Acklam Park, the teams were treated to a meat feast cooked up by messers Thirkell and Crinion. 🍖🍔🔥

Some of the players retreated to the club house to continue the Boro v Leeds rivalry with a pool competition and review of the days play over a bottles of J20 and Yorkie Bars !

It was really good to see folk from TABS CC staying on to watch our 1st XI in the Acklam sunshine ☀️
