Richmond reserves 0-1 Kader
We started the game positively today and continued that way for the whole 90 minutes, Katie A pulled off a great save early in the first half, making a low dive across the goal to tip the ball round the post.
The defence again were holding their line well with little getting through, anything that did manage to get through the wall of defence was quickly cleared by Katie playing keeper sweeper,
Excellent defending from Sinead, Chloe A, Shannon, Yaz and Keeya,
Emma and Sal worked hard all day up and down the wings and across the midfield and creating chances for the strikers, Erin relieving Sal and instantly involved with a few attacks also seen Kader coming close to more goals, Kem captained the team with stacks of positivity and encouragement whilst constantly working hard in the middle of the field with Katie Povey who was creating attacks throughout from throw ins, through balls and hard work, how Katie isn’t on the score sheet today, I don’t know.
Alicia and Rachel upfront were a constant threat to the Richmond defence with both strikers been denied numerous goals with some great saves from Richmonds keeper
The goal came from a great ball from Katie Povey and Rachel calmly slotting home.
Kader were constantly attacking today and a lot of players were unlucky not to be on the score sheet
Fantastic game on an awful pitch with lots of team work and encouragement on and off the pitch
