🥋 MSK Inter-Club Competition – Sunday 12th July 🥋
Entries are now open!
We are delighted to announce the 7th Middlesbrough Shotokan Karate Inter-Club Competition, taking place on Sunday 12th July.
This competition is the epitome of grassroots karate, providing a friendly and supportive environment for young karateka to gain competition experience, build confidence, and enjoy a fantastic day of karate.
Whether it's a student's first competition or they have competed before, our aim remains the same:
✅ Promote inclusion and participation
✅ Develop confidence and competitive experience
✅ Bring clubs together from across the association
✅ Create lasting memories and friendships
✅ Ensure every child leaves feeling proud of their achievements
With the competition taking place just one week before the summer holidays, it's the perfect way to finish the term and celebrate all the hard work students have put in throughout the year.

🥊 Kumite Equipment Information
In line with WKF Youth League rules and current safeguarding guidance, students under the age of 14 are encouraged to wear:
• Head Guard
• External Chest Protector
Ideally, all competitors should have the correct protective equipment. However, students may still be entered for Kumite without this equipment, with participation remaining at the discretion of their coach.

• Spectators (16+) – £2
