Hutch had a heart attack….
He’s fine but why am I telling you this? Because without being as fit as he is, he would have had a very different outcome.
In his own words 👇
‘I’ve been a part of the Invictus Fitness family for the past 5 years and I believe that my journey with them has proved to be a life saver… I’m currently a 59 year-old male who recently suffered a heart attack which came completely out of the blue, being a total shock for my family, friends, and especially me.
I had a change in employment when I started with Chris back in 2021 and decided to ‘sort myself out’ as I needed to think about looking after my body and preparing for my ‘old age’.
So, after thoroughly enjoying five years with Invictus Fitness my weight is now a couple of pounds away from being my lightest as an adult, a BMI of 25, blood pressure of 119/78 and a resting heart rate of 60, and I was telling everyone that I was feeling the best I’ve ever felt.
So, as I was being rushed to hospital in the back of an ambulance on a very sunny Sunday afternoon, I couldn’t believe I was having a heart attack.
After many tests and having a stent fitted into a narrowed artery, I was told that I should make a full recovery. Mainly because I recognised it early and called 999, but also because my heart muscles were found to be in excellent condition. I am convinced that if I hadn’t spent the time working towards improving my overall fitness, the outcome would have been very different’
Fitness isn’t just about vanity, it can save lives! ❤️
