A fabulous morning at The Forest Fitness Relay event. So much fun, laughter and team spirit!

6 teams of 4. Each team member covering around 0.8 miles. A very close run race, with 24 remarkable efforts!!

What a way to kick off 2026! January has been packed with strong running performances, parkrun milestones, and the return of our popular Couch to 5K - huge well done to everyone getting involved 💙

January also saw the launch of our latest Couch to 5K group - welcoming both familiar faces and brand-new runners to the club.

The group has already completed Week 3, making fantastic progress and proving that running really is for everyone 💪👏

Forest Fitness Run Club will be holding a C25K course in the New Year! We will be meeting 6.45pm every Monday evening for 10 weeks.

Start Date: January 2026 (TBC)
DAY: Monday’s
TIME: 6.45 pm
MEETING PLACE: Evie’s Cafe (Melksham Park)
Course Fee: £22

Hi Forest Fitness family, I have a personal thank you to you all for helping me "the slowest runner" to increase my level of fitness. With your help, support, inspiration and coaching within a positive friendly atmosphere. Many of you are aware I qualified for the 200m Backstroke at the British Masters Championships held this weekend at the Olympic Pool London. I finished 5th with a new PB and very proud of it. The 1st & 2nd broke the British and European records so I was in good company. Also took 1 min 1sec off my season best park run at Hackney Marshes. So had great weekend. I very emotional writing this. Alot of my improvement is being part of Forest Fitness family. So Thank you all so much from an old man who thought he could not complete at this level again. It is very emotional.
