This year the Red Kite Ride is supporting Bucks Mind, Meals from Marlow, Wycombe Homeless Connection and Pinder Hall. Yes, it is a great day on the bike, but behind all of that is a simple purpose: local people raising money for local good.

The Red Kite Ride is a brilliant club day out because the distances work for different abilities. Some riders can take on the 100, others can choose 80, 50 or 40, and everyone ends up back at the same finish-line atmosphere in Marlow. Get a group together and join the Strava club too.

The Red Kite Ride is not just turn up, ride, go home. On the day we are creating a proper finish-line atmosphere at Marlow Sports Club, with food, drink, stalls, massage, a full bar and the kind of post-ride social feeling that makes people stay around. Think village fete meets cycling festival.

It is run by riders, volunteers and local people who care about making the day work brilliantly for everyone who turns up. Marlow Riders CC has been behind the ride for 15 years, supported by marshals, helpers, cake bakers, route planners, feed-stop teams and sign-on volunteers.
