Bisham Abbey not only offers the uniqueness of time and history but also sits in such stunning grounds on the banks of the River Thames that one cannot fail to be impressed. Today Bisham Abbey is one of Sport England's National Sports Centres providing world class facilities to Britain's leading sports men and women. The Abbey itself once home to Henry VIII and Elizabeth I is now home to a number

of National Governing Bodies of Sport as well as being a unique venue for weddings, conferences, corporate events and training camps. As a centre of excellence for not only the country’s leading sportsmen and women, but also the local community, Bisham Abbey provides a state of the art sporting and non-sporting facilities including:

*FA and RFU standard grass pitches
*Synthetic hockey pitch
*Extensive gym split over 2 floors with large free weights area and cardio section
*Workout classes - Pilates, Yoga, Bodypump
*2 squash courts
*4 indoor tennis courts
*4 outdoor clay tennis courts
*4 outdoor acrylic tennis courts

We were delighted to welcome the PowerHouse Games to Bisham Abbey this week! 📊

Together with our friends at and , children from local state, independent and SEN schools came together for a fun and inclusive sports day, taking part in a range of adaptive sports and activities 🎳

A huge thank you to all the organisers, volunteers and participants who helped make the day such a success. It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm and enjoyment on display, highlighting the positive impact that sport and physical activity can have for everyone 😄

Last weekend, we were proud to attend the England Hockey Awards 2026,
representing Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre and Lilleshall National Sports
Centre.

As joint sponsors of
the Hockey Maker of the Year Award, it was a privilege to celebrate the
incredible people who give their time, energy and passion to support hockey at
every level.

Congratulations
to John McCartney, this year's Hockey Maker of the Year. 👏
A fantastic achievement and a well-deserved recognition of the difference one
person can make to the sport and their community.

The evening was
filled with inspiring stories and a reminder of the vital role that volunteers,
coaches, officials and supporters play in helping hockey thrive across the
country.
