Two exercises Coach Becky keeps coming back to 👇
💪 KB Bottoms Up Press
This is one of my favourite exercises because it does much more than just train the shoulders. Holding the kettlebell upside down challenges your grip, shoulder stability and control, making it a brilliant warm-up or accessory movement.
Why it’s so effective:
• Targets the shoulders while improving stability through the entire upper body
• Encourages better scapular (shoulder blade) control
• Improves grip strength and coordination
• A great way to prepare the shoulders before heavier pressing movements
🍑 Cable Step Up
I could say it’s one of my favourites because it feels great on my glutes… and I’d be telling the truth 😂
But it’s also a fantastic lower-body exercise that allows you to really feel the muscles working throughout the movement.
Why it’s worth doing:
• Primarily targets the glutes and quads
• Builds single-leg strength and balance
• Improves lower-body power and stability
• The cable provides constant tension, helping you stay connected to the working muscles throughout the exercise
