Have you ever felt stuck in the dark, wondering if your efforts even matter? 🛑

For a long time, I found myself constantly jumping from project to project.  If a door didn’t open immediately, I would abandon it and try another door somewhere else.

I thought if I wasn’t seeing things happening then nothing was happening.  But I’ve learned that the dark isn’t a graveyard – it’s a seedbed.

This Wednesday on "Table Talks: Conversations that strengthen the soul", we are diving into 'The Hidden Season: Why God does some of His best work in the underground.' 

We will look at how giants like David, John the Baptist and even Jesus spent years hidden away before their public calling.

I am so excited to announce the launch of my brand new live show, "Table Talks: Conversations that strengthen the soul."

This is a dedicated space to slow down, breathe, and dive into truths that anchor our hearts.

I recently joined the Adidas Running community and signed up for the “10 Years Strong” long run – a virtual challenge to complete 10 km in one tracked activity between 30 and 31 May.

And today was the day.

I’ll be honest: I was scared and nervous taking this on.

Could I do it? What if I couldn’t make it?

That’s the thing about starting something new – the doubts and fears always show up first.

But I set out anyway. At a pace that suited me.

Not somebody else’s pace.

Not somebody else’s run.

My own – whatever that looked like today.

And it wasn’t easy.

It took me over 2 hours to get it done.

But I did it.

This wasn’t just about completing 10 km. This was about embracing the value of hard. Choosing to grow into a version of myself that is stronger, steadier and more resilient.

Because growth is almost always found on the other side of effort, discomfort and ‘this is tough’…but choosing to continue anyways.

So here’s my question for you:

What is your ‘this is tough’ moment right now?

And how might you choose to grow through it?

Resilience isn't just a mindset. It's a practice, a system that can be developed.

Every time you move with intention, you teach your body how to adapt, withstand and recover.

Resilience is built in the same way.

Not in the big moments but in the quiet, consistent practices that strengthen our capacity to stay grounded, flexible and responsive.

A thought that's been sitting with me lately.

René Descartes said, "I think, therefore I am."
Haruki Murakami wrote, "I move, therefore I am."

Two philosophers, centuries apart, offer two ways of understanding ourselves.

One centres the mind.
The other centres the body.

Most of us lean more naturally toward one than the other. For me, it tends to be the mind as it's where I feel most at home.

But as I continue exploring the world of movement and mobility, I'm discovering it isn't so clear cut. It's somewhere between the two - mind-body, body-mind.

When I move, I feel more present.
When I think, I feel clearer.
When I bring the two together, I feel more whole.

And that's the space I'm living in now in my work - exploring how movement shapes who we become, how we lead and how we show up in the world.

Maybe that's the real invitation:
To think with the mind, move with the body - and let both inform who we are becoming.

Sometimes God plants a vision in your spirit long before you can see any evidence of it in the natural.

It starts as a seed — something you sense internally, even if the path feels fuzzy, unclear, or impossible to map out.

If you’re a Christian called to the marketplace, leadership, or influence, this is often how God begins the journey.

He shows you what…long before He shows you how.

Your job isn’t to figure out every step. Your job is to recognise the seed, honour it, and take the next obedient move — even when the vision feels bigger than your current capacity.

Your calling is real and God is faithful to guide you as you walk it out.

Arise. Shine. Your light is needed.

The Law of Consistency says growth comes from what you do repeatedly, not occasionally.

You don’t need a perfect plan or a surge of motivation.

You don’t need to feel ready.

You just need ONE small action you can repeat — something steady, simple, and sustainable.

And when you do so in a way that works for your wiring, it helps work with you not against you.

D’s: Pick one small action you’ll complete daily —a tiny win you can stack.
I’s: Choose a repeatable action that involves sharing, checking in, or being witnessed.
S’s: Choose one action you can weave into an existing routine — something that feels safe, familiar, and low‑pressure.
C’s: Choose the simplest, smallest version of the habit — the version you can complete even on low‑capacity days.

Because when the action fits your style, consistency stops feeling heavy and starts feeling possible – and that’s where the real growth begins.
