Former player Laurence Hughes took on an incredible 24-hour ultra marathon this weekend, with one simple challenge — run as far as he possibly could in 24 hours.

Why? - To mark one year since the passing of his Dad and to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK, a cause close to Laurence’s heart.

Laurence’s Dad was also a huge supporter of Ludlow RFC, so this challenge has a special connection to the club too.

Running through the day and into the night, Laurence put himself through an incredible test of endurance — all to remember his Dad and raise money for a fantastic cause.

Hell of an achievement, Laurence.

Get the kids down to The Linney this summer for two days of rugby, sport, competitions and plenty of fun, run by Andy Powell, former British & Irish Lion, and his coaching team.

U7s–U10s: Friday 14th & Saturday 15th August
U11s–U16s: Sunday 16th & Monday 17th August
9am–3pm each day

£30 for one day | £55 for two days
Sibling discounts available

Competitions & prizes for all, parents are welcome to attend the final-day presentations.
