Full Cycle Community Bike Project, GoodGym Merton and Merton Cycling Campaign (part of London Cycling Campaign) are teaming up for a day of bikes, fitness and community action. Bring your bike along for a free safety check, take on some fun challenges, sign up for our small group ride at 4pm - tiny.cc/MertonRideSept26 - and discover simple ways to get more active while doing some good locally.

If the occasion has inspired you to dust off your bike but you’re not sure if it’s ready to roll, our volunteer mechanics will be out and about at a number of fantastic local events over the coming weeks offering 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗯𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀.

👉𝗙𝗥𝗜 𝟳 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧: We'll be providing free bike TLC at the family-themed 𝗥𝗕𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 (Queen Mary Hall, Cambridge Gardens, 11am-2pm). We'll also be joined by Norbiton's local police team, who will be offering free BikeRegister security marking. 🚲🦌 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀, 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 & 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆! 🦀🐄

Another fun cycle safari today with Hestia Charity's Good Energy Club! With the sun shining and a welcome breeze along the way, our group of 15 followed the Thames to Petersham, before returning to Kingston via Richmond Park.

For some, it was their first ride in years - one hadn't been on a bike for 10 years, another 20. Proof that it's never too late to get back in the saddle.

The wildlife certainly didn't disappoint either. Along the way we spotted deer, cows and, most unexpectedly of all, a crab crossing our path in Richmond Park! 🦀
