Islington Boxing Club Islington Boxing Club (previously known as Islington Boys Club) is North London's premier boxing gym since 1974.

Islington Boxing Club (previously known as 'Islington Boys Club') is the North London's premier boxing gym, est. Based in Upper Holloway the IBC provides boxing sessions for the whole community, ranging from competitive boxing classes, beginners academy classes and recreational sessions. It especially looks for and encourage young people to attend, giving them a focus, showing them discipline and

teaching camaraderie. We cater for serious boxers who want to compete as well as running recreational/non contact boxing fitness classes for those that can 'enjoy' the same rigorous workouts without the full contact combat. The club also started works with local schools that train at the club as well as other boxing themed activities. Please feel free to invite family & friends to this page. Roni put in a determined performance throughout the contest. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be his night as he lost via unanimous decision.

‼️REMINDER‼️

CHAPS in partnership with Islington Boxing Club & Matchroom will be hosting a FREE Prostate Cancer Screening Test for men aged 40-80.

The tests will take place at Islington Boxing Club, 20 Hazellville Road, N19 3LP on Saturday 27th June 2026 from 10am-2pm (in the upstairs gym).

IBC supports CHAPS and this great cause and would urge all our male members from the age of 40-80 to book to get checked - health is wealth!

Today, in the finals of the Teesside Box Cup, Islington Boxing Club had four boxers competing:

• Jimmy Clark won via a 2-1 split decision 🥇
• Michael Clark won via unanimous decision (3-0) 🥇
• Levi Clark won via a 2-1 split decision 🥇
• Miles Ojofetimi lost via unanimous decision (3-0) 🥈

A great weekend overall for the club with plenty of strong performances and valuable experience gained.

Miles Ojofetimi competed in the semi finals of the Teesside Box Cup yesterday and fought against an opponent from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Miles won via unanimous decision and will be competing in the finals today alongside the 3 Clark Brothers, Jimmy, Michael and Levi.
