POV: Cooking is my therapy.

Not because I’m a chef.
Not because I have endless free time.

But because for 30 minutes, life slows down.

No notifications.
No stress.
No pressure to perform.

Just me, good food, and the process.

As an athlete, people see the workouts, the physique, the discipline and the results.

What they don’t see are the small habits that keep me grounded when life gets loud.

Cooking has become one of those habits.

It fuels my body, clears my mind, and reminds me that looking after yourself doesn’t always have to be complicated.

Sometimes therapy looks like a walk.
Sometimes it looks like a workout.

And sometimes it looks like preparing a meal that will help you become a little better tomorrow than you are today.

The last 4 days have been a reminder of something I never want to take for granted🤝

When you commit to becoming the best version of yourself, opportunities start showing up in places you never expected.

What started as an ambassador opportunity at a wellness clinic turned into so much more. New friendships, incredible conversations, amazing places, life-changing experiences, and recovery treatments that left my body feeling better than it has in a long time.

As an athlete, recovery isn’t a luxury. It’s part of the process.

As a person, experiences like these remind me why I keep pushing forward.

A few years ago, I was rebuilding my life, my body, and my confidence from scratch. Today, I get to work with amazing people, represent brands I genuinely believe in, and inspire others through my journey.

At 6’8”, I’ve always stood out physically. But what I want people to remember is that your greatest strength isn’t your height, your genetics, or your circumstances.

It’s your willingness to keep showing up.

Keep training.
Keep learning.
Keep growing.
Keep saying yes to opportunities that scare and excite you.

You never know where they might lead.

Grateful for every moment, every lesson, and every person I met along the way. 🙏
