Our dance school has two teaching locations in Leeds, our brand new purpose built dance studio in Farsley as well as Roundhay where our school first started.

Launching June 2026 🕺🏽🔥

Ready to move, groove and try something new this summer? 👀✨

Our 6‑week Adult Beginner Street Dance course is back! This time we’re diving deep into Hip Hop foundations.

📅 17th June – 22nd July
🕗 Wednesdays at 8PM

This course is perfect for complete beginners or anyone returning to Street Dance after a break. Expect a welcoming, supportive and genuinely fun environment where you can build confidence through movement. 🤩

Across the 6 weeks, you’ll focus on the fundamentals of Hip Hop – including groove, musicality and core movements – learning how the style feels, not just how it looks. We’ll explore where Hip Hop comes from, why groove is essential, and how to move with authenticity and intention. 🪩

You’ll work week by week towards a short piece of choreography, all taught to an authentic Hip Hop soundtrack that keeps the energy high and the class true to the culture. 🎶🙌🏻

We are still not over this video of Adam dancing with his mum, Jackie, at the Sandersons 50th Anniversary Ball. 🥹

It was a truly special moment and a reminder that dance is about so much more than steps. It’s about experiences, connections, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Jackie started her dance business at just 17 years old and has spent the last 50 years building an incredible legacy, contributing so much to the dance industry and inspiring generations of dancers along the way.

We would all like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Jackie on this remarkable achievement and incredible milestone! ❤️

✨ NEW CHILDREN’S STREET DANCE CLASS ✨

We’re so excited to share that bookings are now open for our brand new Children’s Street Dance class, starting Monday 8th June 💥

🕔 Mondays at 5:00pm

Our Street Dance classes introduce dancers to a range of foundations and grooves including Hip Hop, Locking, Popping and House.

Dancers will learn basic moves and foundations from street styles, helping to build musicality, co‑ordination, confidence and individuality in a fun, high‑energy way.

Street Dance is perfect for children looking to express themselves in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment 🤍

Last Sunday, our Ballroom & Latin Team took to the floor for their first interschool competition of the year!

They danced with confidence, commitment and a huge amount of team spirit, showcasing all of the hard work they’ve put in over the last few months. We couldn’t be prouder of how they represented themselves and RISE, both on and off the floor.

On Sunday, our Teen Street Team took to the floor for the competitive debut of RISE DMC! A huge milestone for both the dancers and the studio.

They performed with commitment, resilience and a real sense of teamwork, showing the hard work they’ve put in over the past few months. We were so proud of the way they supported one another and represented Team RISE, both on and off the floor.

No two dancers are the same, and neither is the way they learn. Our teachers take the time to get to know each dancer, adapting how they explain, demonstrate and support so everyone has the opportunity to grow with confidence, at their own pace.

Progress isn’t about rushing or keeping up. It's about understanding, encouragement and consistency. Whether a dancer is just starting out or continuing their journey, our teachers are there to guide, support and celebrate every step along the way.
