40 years ago, we had some big plans for a big space and after a huge public fundraising campaign, the Yorkshire Dance Centre became a reality.

Now, the first major renovations since opening are underway and we look forward to sharing the space with you all in September.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you back into our building this September for Saturday Superstars.

Our ballet classes are available for 3-11 year olds in our Leeds City Centre studios.

Our autumn term starts on 19 September.

From new accessible facilities and seating to improved navigation and independent access, we’re making Yorkshire Dance a more welcoming space for everyone.

Last chance to perform at our 2026 scratch night.

Our scratch night, No Dress Code is open to dance makers based in Yorkshire. As well as the opportunity to test work in front of live audience selected artists receive a £135 performing fee and rehearsal space.
