It was a successful trip to East Yorkshire on Sunday for MFM Yorkshire, as we ran out 7-3 victors against .

We will hopefully be back in action around the middle of October, with further details coming in due course ⚽️

Sunday’s MOTM as voted by the opposition manager, went to Keelan Baldwin, who took the armband for the day with both captain and vice captain unavailable. Keelan kicked off the scoring with a confident finish slotting it past the keeper from close range, it’s nice for his consistent efforts to finally be rewarded with the MOTM👏

It was a return to winning ways for MfM Yorkshire yesterday, as we ran out 6-1 winners against a solid Yorkshire Elite Football Club - Charity Team side.

The first half was a cagey affair with both teams having chances, but ultimately we went in at half time 2-1 up. After a few changes at the break, our boys took control and Keegan added another four to his goals tally in the second half⚽️

We’d like to thank Yorkshire Elite for hosting us, and we look forward to seeing them again in the future🩷

We will be back in action this weekend, further details to be announced later in the week⚽️

Yesterday’s MOTM, as chosen by some of the opposition players, went to Fred Coley, who in his first start in midfield, after a 12 hour drinking session the night before, put in a display of both defensive quality and attacking prowess when called upon👏

‼️ Lower League Podcast XI 2-10 Men For Mind FC ‼️

Firstly, a massive thank you to The Lower League Podcast for organising the game, and cranfieldunitedfc for being brilliant hosts.

Early counts show that, with both sets of match fees, the raffle and donations, just shy of £1,000 has been raised for Mind. 🙌

If you’d like to make an additional donation and help us push it over £1,000, please get in touch with us. Every penny makes a difference.

Scoreline probably flatters us slightly, but that’s the benefit of having a lot of this group now playing together since we formed in 2021.

⭐ Man Of The Match - Yesterdays, birthday boy… Luke Little ⭐

Heard a few comments about our squad, so here’s the reality:

🔵 1 x South Mids Div 1
🔵 1 x South Mids Div 2
🔵 1 x South Mids Reserves
🔵 3 × North Bucks Prem
🔵 1 × North Bucks Div 1
🔵 1 × North Bucks Intermediate
🔵 3 × Sunday League Prem
🔵 3 × MFM only

Apparently that makes us a South Mids superteam. 😂

In reality, it’s a group of lads who have been playing together for 5 years, across different clubs and different levels, who come together for Men For Mind FC and a cause that matters much more than any result.

Nearly £1,000 raised for Mind. 🧠💙

That’s the result that really matters.

BIGGER and BETTER next year hopefully, The Lower League Podcast 👀
