This season we have entered our U17s into the West Riding U23 Development league.
A fantastic point against an established team at this level and brilliant foundation to work from.
Head Coach David Lawn provided us with the full match report

Our 3rd league game of the season, where we looked to pick up our first points of the season after some good performances which saw us on the wrong end of the result.
The team had been improving game by game & we have started to build a solid way of playing which the lads have taken onboard really well.
We started the game with really good control & look really composed on the ball. After a few chances for either team, the opposition found themselves 1-0 up with a penalty that was taken really well.
We bounced back & responded brilliantly by equalising through Jessie who had beat the offside trap after a brilliant ball over the top from Arvind, Jessie rounded the rushing keeper & slotted the ball into the empty net. Calcio then had a goal ruled out for off-side right of the stroke of half time, after the official had originally given the goal.
A positive half time team talk, had the lads raring to go in the 2nd half. We had a couple of early chances, but once again, Tadcaster took advantage of their opportunities and found themselves 2-1 up with a near post strike. Calcio kept positive & the 2nd half highlighted the strength of the squad, with the substitutes making a huge impact in the game. In the 66th minute we had a freekick just outside the box, up stepped Oli Ridds who lifted the ball high over the wall & away from the reaching keeper. A fantastic end to the game & a well deserved point against a good Tadcaster Side.
