What an amazing first night we had at our 2026 absolute beginners class on Tuesday night.
The hall was packed and everyone did so well!
I honestly didn’t expect that we’d get both dances us to full speed so that was brilliant- well done to all our new dancers and welcome to the Boot Scootin’ Crew!
See you in Tuesday for the next class. I promise it will feel much more familiar next time!

Just 4 more days until our next Absolute Beginners class starts for 2026.
We only restart teaching from scratch once a year, so now's your opportunity to start with the basics and grow in confidence with your dancing over the coming months.
These guys have been dancing for a year now and are moving up to the improvers class as they've had so much fun learning the fundamentals, and now have a lot of great dances under their belts. This could be you too!

NEW ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS class start Tues 2 June in Cellan. £5 on the door.
Two left feet and zero dance experience welcome (and actively encouraged!). We are a relaxed group who dance for fun and because it maxes us smile inside and out. No pressure to actually get the steps right!

It’s not all country music 🎶 🤠
I mean we dance to our fair share of country tracks, but tonight we also danced to Megan Trainor, Kilotile, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims and Ella Langley.
If you’d like to try line dancing then please come along to our new beginners class starting on 2 June in Cellan, Lampeter. It’s great fun, friendly and no pressure to get the steps right!!

Line dancing is such a giggle! Yes, we learn some dances and try to get them (mostly) right, but most of all we have fun. Can you hear the chatter ? The buzz in the room? That's people simply enjoying themselves and you can too!

*** Fancy trying your hand at Line Dancing? 👢👢
Our very popular classes have been running since 2024 and we only run a new Absolute Beginner class once a year, so now's your chance!

We dance to a wide variety of music including country tracks and we're a very friendly class. Don't worry about coming alone if you can't drag someone along, you'll make friends here!

Two left feet are fine - we'll show you the basics, take it slow and you'll learn where your right foot is!! But being absolutely honest, we don't actually care if you get the dance wrong (which we do often anyway!) - we care more that you are enjoying moving to music and having fun. If you get the dance right, it's a bonus!!

So please join us at Cellan hall on Tuesdays at 6pm from 2 June.

Class outing tonight!

For those of you are able to come, here’s the reminders of the details…

Don’t forget to bring drinks and nibbles, £10 on the door and a fan if you get hot. It’s going to be a busy night so will get warm. Dress cool and keep your dance step small tonight if the floor is busy!
Oh, and most of all, have fun!

With more snow falling now, and for the rest of the day they roads aren't in great condition, and we'd rather people didn't risk driving to class, so we've decided to postpone restarting until next week (snow permitting!).

Classes will restart from 13 January - Happy New Year!
